Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
